Dear Attleboro Justice System.
There was a kid who swerved right in front of me on his bike. with a glare in my eye, I was able to pound on my brakes in my $250 dollar, 1994, about-to-break-down Subaru Impreza. He didn’t get hurt. He was okay. He walked away. Unlike my brother almost 12 years ago on the same street. He was so close to dying. He has a metal plate in his femur and his humerus, and fractured his skull. He was in a coma for 2 weeks. The doctors were literally in shock that his mental state was still intact. They were amazed that he was still able to do his school work and other things. It’s a miracle that my brother is still alive. If I did the exact same thing to that kid today, I would have been put to jail, fined, and all of that fun stuff. However, the man who hit my brother, got away. Just because there was a glare in his eye. That was the reason he got away. there was a glare in his eye. The real reason was because he was an Attleboro cop and my family are nobodies. We got nothing. Just a bunch of medical bills. I just hate the fact that I was able to stop, and spare a life, yet he was careless enough to be speeding down handy street, a very thickly settled, very curvy street when he works for the justice system.
